Perfil: The host organisation preferes volunteers very happies living in rural areas adn collaborating with people with intellectual disabilities. Very motivated, initiave, and creating and growing the project.

Tarefas: ACTIVITIES: Manintenance daily activities, Supporting workshops, creating new activities, realising activities of leisure and free time. supporting activities between young people and residents in the Leisure Center, intercultural activities with young people of the Village. B. Proposed activities for EVS volunteers. - Main aim of this project is to increase ecological awareness among children and connected with this idea of environment and nature protection. - We would expect our volunteers to prepare and implement multileveled program about environment care and waste recycling. - Through active actions we would like volunteers to encourage children to save the nature and teach them how to love natural environment. - We would like volunteers to provide children the knowledge how to segregate waste. - As well we would like volunteers to show proactive behaviour interesting ideas in preparation of posters with elements of theirs mother language, illustrating waste type. It would be a great advantage if our volunteers could bring some materials about environment care from their home countries. Since few years in April each year our kindergarten organises countrywide plastic contest "Save the Environment" connected with celebration of "Days of Earth in Cracow". We expect that: - each of the volunteers, who will take part in our project, to prepare (before coming to Poland) a plastic work presenting attitude towards waste recycling in chosen country of the European Union. We believe that through this actions volunteers will make the problem of ecological awareness in other countries closer, and that they will inspire kindergartners and their parents to new ideas how to care about ecological environment. - We would like volunteers to prepare children and out personnel to chat about environment care and about the use of waste in their place of residence. We believe that thanks to prepared materials children will generate an interesting idea on preparing plastic works with use of different recyclable materials. - We would like our best posters, illustrations and other creativeness, that will be created in time when the project will be realised to be presented on organised by us plastic contest as mentioned above as well as during Ecological Exposition, where our Kindergarten presents its works in field of ecology. We think that volunteers will widen and enrich the form of the contest. - We want our children during the ecological walks in the nearest neighbourhood to give to people leaflets that will be prepared with the volunteers before, and present prepared posters as well. - We hope that volunteers will actively join in organisation of the Annual Ecological Exhibition (organised by City council in our Kindergarten) and Festival of Recycling as well. Since the very first years of our kindergartens we try to develop in them way of thinking and behaviour. We believe that child raised in the need to feel contact with the nature, taught pro ecological thinking what in the adult age will help them to fix or neutralise negative impact of economy on the ecological environment that was implemented by their predecessors. We would like to create healthy and ecological behaviour among our children by contact with volunteers. - We hope that our guests apart of deep engagement in project of propagation ecological education will take part in various workshops for children and their parents "I can name my fillings". We would desire these meetings to be an opportunity to get a closer contact with the group and to inspire them to play games, and activities developing various emotions. - Volunteers will be able to help teachers in preparation of kindergarten materials and conducting a test for 6 years old children on the topic of development of emotional intelligence. - We would like volunteers to help us in creation of interesting plastic works, which will be done using different techniques. We hope that their presence as representatives of different country will enrich our didactic program and topics in our kindergarten. - According to artistic profile of the kindergarten we think that our guests will be able to take part in open classes for parents, workshops for children and their parents dedicated to development of ability of expressing feelings in verbal, plastic and motion way. Beside the main theme of the project which is ecology and art, we would like volunteers also to focus on pedagogical aspects of the project. - We would like volunteers to present their ways of spending time with children, - We hope that volunteers will realize their own ideas during activities in which children take active part, - We would like volunteers to take active part in the classes, where they can teach (in their native language) kindergartners some songs, poems or common games what will help children to know other languages in simple way, - We hope that our guests will take active part in all walks, excursions (for example to the museum) with our pupils organised by the kindergarten, - As well we would like volunteers to help children in their basic daily activities, such as help in wearing shoes, help in wearing their jackets, help children while they are eating their meals in kindergarten. We hope that thanks to this kind of active help we will be able to break borders of shyness and that our common games will allow on better integration and creation of friendly atmosphere in the group.
