Resumo: "the association works in the field of digital arts and supports its members in their personal and professional projects. Labomedia implements actions and projects that inspire and assist to each individual to product some multimedia content and to use digital technologies in expressing their opinion. The association offers services in its Resource Documentary Centre (ECM), Public Digital Space (EPN), Cultural Multimedia Space, and a space dedicated to video. The association works with those young people who for certain cultural, social or economic reasons
are remote from digital arts. For these people the association offers support and assistance which consists of the relevant actions (inclusion, workshops ...). The association tries to involve mixed generations in the realization of these projects and actions. What is important is that people are interested in the content when the pedagogical approach is playful.This gives possibility for experimentation and realization of individual and group projects. Activities: - workshops; - Trainings (certification training organization DDTEFP); - Creation / Research and Development (on art projects: 3D - real time interaction); - Support of projects (more than 30 each year); - Broadcast (Fête des 01); The team: - Responsible for the artistic projects; - Two media trainers; - Responsible for the digital resources; - An accountant; - Director; >> A team of volunteers is distributed around the centers of activity (25 people are involved in the
audiovisual projects; ten projects are directed by the ECM; 150 members benefit from the activities offered by the EPN."

Perfil: The personal files of EVS candidates are indexed in a database according to their profile and motivations (nationality, age, gender, experience ...). The mails are sent to check several criteria: the existence of a sending structure, the candidate's motivation and his/her availability. After a first selection according to the criteria mentioned above, we represent each of the candidates to our structure, commenting on his/her future responsibilities ... hosting conditions. After that we select our candidates based on their interest in the project and their motivations. We exclude candidates who prefer country to the project.

Tarefas: "The volunteer will work with the Digital Network and participate in the development of multimedia activities. The multimedia integrates several branches to enable the production of multimedia content be disseminated in the internet. It will reflect and support multimedia activities of the public, especially those which deal with the audiovisual technologies and also with the new interactive devices in the real time and particularly those which integrate 3D elements. The technology is developing, so we consider that we should also use new inventions in our work.
The EVS volunteer will help a media trainer in the realization of actions at the local level and contribute to the projects as a pretext for collective learning of computer skills; The EVS volunteer will be involved in the projects which will be implemented in the association as well as in cooperation with other organizations (within signall) or institutions and will promote European mobility; The EVS volunteer will participate in the implementation of technical tools and innovative teaching; The EVS volunteer will cooperate with European projects of the Youth in Action for which we will facilitate his/her involving; The EVS volunteer will look for new partners in Europe in the perspective of exchange of multimedia content and produce it together.
The association is situated at the heart of the city which allows the EVS volunteer to be involved in the cultural life of Orléans. Labomedia is involved into many networks. The participation of Labomedia in many cultural, artistic, social and educational projects gives EVS volunteer a lot of opportunities to discover various frameworks and to work at local, regional, national or European level. The proximity of the railroad station of Orléans and transport links assist traveling in the city and in the whole region. "
