Resumo: The kindergarten is a small institution. We take care for 51 children, who are divided in one nursery group and three elder children groups.

Our house is small and family like.
Part of our property is the nursery garden: here the small ones can play in the sand and can use the mini slide. In the garden for elder children we have a sand box, a nest swing and a climbing frame. Here the children can prove their skills and the volunteer helps us.

Target group:
We want to educate the children (aged 0-6) very nature related. They prepare own beds and they plant vegetables and flowers. Doing that they observe the changing nature. We plan to repeat a very successful forest project. The play is a key factor in our work. The children play in the room and go into the garden almost in all weathers. They try the construction-, rule-, and role-play. So they learn playing what they can use throughout their whole live.

Perfil: - age: 18 until 30 years old
- kindness, openness,
- engagement, flexibility, patience,
- independence, responsibility, resilience,
- conflict resolution skills and the willingness for teamwork
- happy to work with various children, youth and families
- basic language skills in German
- A drivers license would be nice but is not essential.

Tarefas: - volunteers should support our colleagues in strengthening the creativity and social competences of the children during playing. They also help to strengthen motor skills and cognitive skills.
- The volunteers learn the work with children in a playing and nature related way. They test themselves and will reflect their effects with the mentor.
- We offer space for the individual nature related projects which can be implemented.
- volunteers can learn a lot about the Fröbel pedagogic and other progressive education streams. They will be supported and can strengthen their capacities in project management (Planning of own offers, fests etc.).

Horário: The weekly working hours will be 25 hours in the host project. So we have 10 additional hours for the common project with other volunteers of other host projects.

Condições: Accomodation:
The 6 volunteers will be accommodated in two flats with 3 and 4 rooms. We take for granted that the volunteers keep their flat tidy. That means they have to clean all rooms, the kitchen and the bath room regularly. If the house rules say so the volunteers have also to take over cleaning responsibility for the house and its surroundings. The flats have a good condition.
Each volunteer will have his/her own room with bed, wardrobe, table and chair. The full furnished bath room and kitchen will be shared. The rooms have different sizes. That means not everyone will get the same room size.At the end of the stay it will be necessary to renovate the rooms for following volunteers. The participation in this work will be taken for granted.
