Resumo: Project: the evs volunteer will start in the Youth centre Time Out next to the high school. There youngsters in the age of 12 to 20 come around for activities and Youth issues.

Next to the high school we have a youthcentre that is open after schooltime every afternoon and 3 evenings in the week. Next to that we organise a lot of activities together with the school like anti-discrimination day, techique day, dansactivties, etc. The youthcentre is run by several staffmembers of the foundation and some local volunteers.
For the extra activities: we work on different locations. Where needed we organise extra activities for youngsters in there own village. This can be something with sports, preventional work, a disco evening, etc.

Perfil: - age: 18 until 30 years old
- volunteers are then facing educational, social, economical, cultural or geographical obstacles
- we can't place a youngster with heavy physical problems
- interest in working with youth in the age of 11 to 20 years old
- will work in a team so he or she has to be open in working together with others,
- respect each others opinion
- open in doing recreative and sportsactivities
- has to be physical able to guide the youngsters in these actions

Tarefas: Project Time Out (long term EVS):

In the morning he or she will be busy with preparing activities for the centre or for one of the youthclubs in the region. Working with the computer, making leaflets, setup programs, so participating in some activities or guide them.

Activities that will take place:
- Sports,
- recreational activities,
- music performances,
- educational,
- dans,
- preventionwork

The youthcentre is in the week open for the youngsters. In the evening and weekends other youngsters are also welcom.

Horário: The hours at the youthcentre are fixed hours. If activities are planned in the evening or weekends there will compensation in the week. The most weekends are free

Condições: We will give the EVS volunteer the change to learn Dutch and to become a membre of one of the many sportclubs in town.
