Resumo: Project: activities with children in the age of 6 to 12 years old.

The project we propose is the "childrensholidayweek". We organise this week every year in the summerholiday. The location is central in the region SLUIS. This week has the purpuse to give children, how cannot go on a holiday, a week full of activities.

Perfil: - age: 18 until 30 years old
- volunteers are then facing educational, social, economical, cultural or geographical obstacles
- we can't place a youngster with heavy physical problems
- interest in working with children in the age of 6 to 12 years old
- open in doing recreative and sportsactivities
- to be physical able to guide the children in these actions

Tarefas: Project Summertandem (short term EVS):

- help in the workshops and guide the children during the games or handycraft.
" Within the project they can chose for a special workshop or task they want to do - they can do something special with it, like : during the cookingworkshop: learn the children to cook something typical from their own country.

Condições: In the short time we can offer them a period of working together with local volunteers
- give them a change to learn a bit of the language
- give them the change to develop their own skills and maybe learn them to oure local volunteers
- to them see how we live and work here
- in the weekends they can visit the rest of Netherlands or Belgium.
