Resumo: The working place of the volunteer is mainly in the main rooms, situated in the city centre of Amboise. Indeed, we want to offer the volunteer to deal different young public with his/her projects and we give him/her the opportunity to work in other proximal places, like schools, universities, local associations and other proximal youth structures. Throught the diversity of local and touristic activities of our association and in connection with his/her main missions, he/ she gets the opportunity to have contact with very different people, concerning their cultural background, as well as their age and nationality.

Perfil: Profils des volontaires et procédure de sélection - In link with his/her main tasks it seems important to us that the volunteer shows a real European consciousness. He must want to learn more about Europe, its evolution, its wealth, the particularities of the countries for him/herself but also to share them. At least, she or he will should have basic knowledges of french when she/he arrives to enable her/him to cope and develop a good language mastery. open-mindedness, motivation, enthusiasm, maturity and interpersonal skills are the main criteria for selecting our next volunteer. Our proposal is intended to host volunteers from all countries. We conduct an initial selection based on the above criteria, length of service required and the project (personnal motivations) of the volunteer. After this first step, we have several e mail contact with the candidates to check the correlation between the wishes of each partner and to validate or not the proper ordering of the paperwork necessary for her/his stay (sending organization, visa ... ).

Tarefas: Activités proposées aux volontaires S.V.E. The first service proposed to of the volunteer is,of course, to learn the French language. He/she will spend the whole day with the working team, which can correct his/ her faults and teach him/ her some expressions and the prononciation. The task to welcome touristes and members of our association makes him/her continue learning the understanding and diction of the language. In addition, we propose him/ her two weeks of french courses in a language school after his arrival and a second etap in the middle of his EVS to improve his/her knowledge. The second opportunity for the volunteer is to participate for free in different artistic activities, organised by our association like dancing, theatre, painting, yoga, italien, guitar... Apart from the areas and instalations available on request (for meeting friends, meals, internships, vehicules for little movements) the central situation of Amboise offers the volonteer to travel fastly (by train or bus) to bigger cities like Orlèans, Tours or Paris. In addition, there are many touristic sides (like the castles of the Loire) and we try to offer the volunteer the possibility to visit them during his/her stay. Concerning his/her activities : - the first mission entrusted to him/her is to develop projects, activities promoting a better knowledge of Europe and intercultural meeting. These actions should be in priority for a young public (12-25 years old). Our desire is to work, for these projec; The second is to participate in welcoming our groups and individual residents. This activity alongside our staff helps to ensure a good hospitality to our customers and also to strengthen the international identity of our holiday centers. - Periodically, the volunteer is asked or invited to participate in the organization and implementation of projects towards the local youth, alongside professional animators. This is particularly the case during recreational outings, parties or during summer as part of the annual platform for young talent.

Condições: The volunteer is accommodated by our structure in a room of our Youth Hostel which is reserved for this use. He/ she can permanently enjoy the places and installations of our hostel in order to improve his/her living conditions (computer, internet, TV, fax, security).
