Resumo: We organise local social projects with a vision of youth participation and social awareness. The volunteers will participate social projects below and they will have different tasks depending on the projects.

Perfil: - age: 18 until 30 years old
- Disadvantaged status of the volunteer

Tarefas: 1) YOUTH SPEAKS (GENCLER KONUSUYOR)

The project is aiming at;
• to encourage young people to express their selves.
• to reflect youth point of view on social and political issues
The volunteers’ tasks are:
-Finding subject for interviews,
-Going to the streets and making interviews with youngsters,
-Recording videos,
-Editing the videos,
-Sharing the video in the social media,
-Promoting the visibility of the Project on local and national level with promotion activities.


2) CREATE YOUR DREAM CITY

The volunteers tasks are:
-Preperation of the materials for workshops
-Going to high schools for presentations
-Implementing the workshop with local staff
-Promoting the website of the organisation

3) SECOND HAND MARKET

Young people have a place to sell their second hand stuff to make small profit. Our aim is not only to provide benefit for young people but also, we are aiming at promoting financial awareness of young people.

The volunteers tasks are:
-Finding new sellers every week by promoting the project
-Preperation of the market place
-Leading the cooperation between sellers and customers.

4) YOUTH RADIO
The radio of the organisation is a key tool to reach our target group. Young people have opportunity to express themselves among other young listeners. The radio contains music, news and social programmes.

The volunteers tasks are:

-Organising a radia programme
-Promotion of the radio on local basis

5) SOCIAL AWARENESS
People usually wait for the others to make steps for development. But Social Development needs awareness and cooepration of the community.
We shoot movies and publish in social media. Also, we organise street activities with participation of big number of young people to point on social issues.

The volunteers tasks are:
-Finding a subject about social awareness,
-Preparing materials ,
-Finding and arranging a proper place for outdoor activities,
-Shooting and editing short movies on the social issues

Horário: EVS volunteers work from Tuesday to Saturday. They have weekly free days on Sunday and Monday.
