Resumo: EVS volunteers will assist our team in their initiative to promote community new ideas such Do it yourself, Reuse and recycle, Home learning, etc. This new program in our community is designed to help parents of children of 0-3 years to make their own toys and games and even more important to encourage parents in home learning activities.

For 2013-2014 we plan to organize workshops for parents and kids on how to create their own toys and games from recycled and reused materials, to create games and toys and to use online tools to promote them on local level.

Perfil: age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: • to plan and implement 2 hours workshops twice every week for families (children, parents, caregivers) to teach parents and caregivers to create their own toys and games from recycled and reused materials
• to create toys for children 0-3 years and to present the process of creation on the website of the project
• to organize workshops in highschools and universities where they can share their experience as EVS volunteers and encourage volunteering
• to organize activities for children 0-5 years in the kindergartens using the created toys and games
