Resumo: EVS volunteers will help in an afterschool program developed by our organization for children of 6-11 years. The afterschool program is designed to provide learning activities to children from 12.00 to 17.00 week days.

Perfil: age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: • to plan and organize a daily educational program of 5 hours Monday to Friday for children 6 to 11 years from Oradea. Topics of activities we envisage: art; intercultural education; recycling, reusing materials; science for kids; life skills; etc. Indoor as well as outdoor activities are planned including site visits.
• promote after school program and its activities in the local community
• promoting a family life style by planning and running whole family activities
• encourage and support young people community involvement as volunteers in the afterschool program
• organize periodically fun - educational weekend activities ( as example 1 June celebration) to promote families participation and volunteering
• organize workshops in highschools and universities where they can share their experience as EVS volunteers and encourage volunteering
