Resumo: The hosting organization works in partnership with organizations from all over Bulgaria and offers to their foreign volunteers a variety of projects at social and environmental organizations.

As a hosting EVS organization organizes projects related to the core activities of the organization aAˆA“ promotion of voluntarism, multicultural understanding, human rights defence, ecology, etc.

The main working place for the volunteers is the offic which is situated at the very centre, at a very communicative and convenient place. Our office is well-equipped and well set up and provides excellent work conditions and meets the criteria for safety at the workplace. As an organization that works mainly with young people, we also offer our volunteers the opportunity to establish plenty of social contacts and to learn about the local culture and lifestyle.

Perfil: It is not expected that we have any specific requirements towards the volunteers but their interest in volunteering and the topic of the project, we expect them to be open to getting to know the culture and traditions of Bulgaria.
Exceptions are those cases when the project involves work with minors. Then we would require the volunteers to present a letter of recommendation and a police check certificate.
For spreading the information for our future EVS projects we will use a few channels: the web platforms aˆ“ website, blog, facebook and tweeter, and the mailing lists of the network of Service Civil International (this includes contacting some of the working groups within the network). Information will be published in the mailing list of SEEYN (South East European Network).

The volunteers for projects are selected after an interview with all short-listed applicants. All applications that arrive will be processed after the announced deadline. There will be a list of all candidates which will include all important moments of the volunteeraˆ™s motivation. The decision is taken after a discussion among the members of the team and Board.

The organization works with the organizations that are members of Service Civil International and SEEYN. We prefer to work with them as we already have established connections and contacts, we know their activities and methods for volunteer management and preparation. Last but not the least we share the same vision of voluntarism which is significant. Of course, we are open to establishing new partnerships with other organizations.

Tarefas: Some of the possible activities we can offer to our future volunteers are as follows:
Support of the activities of our working groups;
Organization of voluntary actions, weekends, camps and other initiatives;
Support of the placement of international volunteers in projects in Bulgaria;
Participation in activities for preparation of volunteers going on projects abroad;
Organization of informational evenings and meetings; celebrations;
Participation in informational campaigns for the promotion of volunteering;
Establishment of contacts with potential partners;
PR of the organization.
