Resumo: We, would like to host the EVS group project “Every Act of Participation Makes a Difference!” for a period of 2 months, starting in 07 October 2013 and ending in 07 December 2013 (2 months), 20 volunteers from 5 different European Unioun Countries (4 volunteers per association).
The main aim of this project is to promote active citizenship through campaigning and empowering young people. The EVS volunteers will work on a campaign for two months, while giving themselves the possibility to improve their skills and make a change in the community. The campaign will be covering the High Schools, the Universities, the special education institutions, the civil society of the city and in a wider term the mass media and public. The high reach will be gained through the important events and the media coverage, as well as the use of social media.
Some of the events where the volunteer will work:
- 9 November – Day against Fascism
- 1 December – Day Against HIV
- 3 December – International Day of Disabled persons
- 5 December - International Day of Volunteering
Perfil: US 4 VOLUNTEERS EACH (2 FEMALE AND 2 MALE)
AGED 18-25 YEARS OLD.
Tarefas: 1. Planning, designing and implementing the Active Citizens Campaign
2. Promoting active youth participation, European citizenship and volunteering in the high schools
3. Preparing and issuing the Newsletter of the association called “C’kemi”, as well as updating the website
4. Social animating for disabled young people - The volunteers will work in close cooperation with the staff, the local volunteers and with the special support of the supervisor and the mentor of BBA. They will be provided language course.
