Resumo: The organization is managing several projects and EVS volunteers will have the opportunity to participate and give support to various activities. Since the organization is also member of a local network of social enterprises, EVS volunteers will have the opportunity to become familiar with the answers of the organized civil society.

The project is aimed at creating job opportunities and provide trainings for young people and immigrants of the area on (typical handicraft, alternative tourism, etc.).
Based on their abilities and fields of interest, and within the limit of the program, they will be able to manage initiatives on their owns: organization of events, media and communication, etc).

EVS volunteers will bring an intercultural and European/ transnational dimension to our activities and will be a useful asset for our organisation as we strive to engage more young people and organisations from the Euro-Mediterranean region in our project work.

Perfil: - interest in environmental, social and (inter)cultural issues
- open minded and friendly
- with a spirit of adventure
- good command of English (B2)
- age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: - Partipating in meetings with our working partners, especially the youth;
- Assisting in the organization of events, working camps, training courses, etc.;
- Asisting in the housing/renovation project;
- Collecting and producing materials for the website, blogs, newsletter (photos, videos, articles, etc.)

The volunteers will be briefed, at least on a weekly basis, by the project officers about the tasks that are required of them. They will work with the Project Officer and staff in the office or going out and about with them.

The project welcomes new ideas from the volunteers and encourages them to use their. The volunteers will be encouraged to suggest ideas and ways of using any existing skills they have.

Horário: EVS volunteers are expected to "work" 4-6 hours daily from Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is needed as some activities are run in the evening and on the weekdends.
