Resumo: The aim of the hosting organization is to allow children in Austria a life in save, sheltered and happy
environment. The organization cares for children withdrawn from their families by the youth welfare
office because of violence in the family, neglect, death or illness of the parents or because they cannot
cope. The organization gives children a home and the chance of a healthy development. We are rising
the children in cooperation with their parents (family), teachers and the youth welfare office.

Perfil: The organization is searching for 1 volunteer who is interested in working with children between 5 – 15
years. You should be confident in working with children and youngsters who may face social obstacles
or come from a migrational background. You should be willing to learn German as soon as possible so
you can communicate with the children. You should be honest and trustworthy as everything that you
will learn about the children and their families underlies professional descretion.

Tarefas: The stuff
members have to provide for the children and make the community an as cozy and warm a home as
possible (cooking, cleaning, washing, doing the shopping, working in the garden…etc.). They have to
accompany and guide the children with their tasks involving school, and for sure – look after them
during their free time, sometimes organizing games, outings and sports.
