Our clients consist, among others, of autistic people, intellectually disabled with psychical disorders and people with several sensory handicaps. For each client, a personal rehabilitation plan is elaborated. This plan consists, when necessary, of teaching, workshops and different therapies. There is also a special school in the center with about 50 places for students.
The present the hosting organization has in total about 220 places for short and long-term rehabilitation.
In the centre the volunteers would work in the occupational rehabilitation work field where there are 10 different workshops. In the occupational rehabilitation work field there are about 30 workers organizing the diverse activities in the workshops.
Workshops are work- and daily activity places for adults needing special support. There is a wide range of activities and possibilities in this work field varying for example from arts&crafts to different kinds of social activities. Workshops aim to support each client’s independent life skills and their own strengths.
Our clients need special and individualized support so we wish that the volunteers would be able to join our work quite independently.
