Resumo: We are a civic association with the status of non governmental organization. Inspired the Christian system of values or of any other noble reasons, we want to help children and young people seeking support, assistance and care.

The association has 8 daily centers where project will take place. In the those centers we gathers 150 to 200 kids. We create an open, prosperous and learning communities based on free choice, sincere, dialogue and respect for rules. We help young people seeking support. Together we discover the world of values and depth of personal potentials. Strengthen mutual trust, social ties and civic engagement and sense of responsibility for themselves and others.

Ongoing efforts:
Create a coherent system of working with children and young people and their families. We operate on a daily basis (daily institutions of support and youth club) and all day (family children's homes, group empowerment, sheltered housing), conduct counseling and therapy and wide sports activities.

Perfil: Any creative and energetic individual, who enjoys working with children and teenagers, can become a member of our international volunteer team. Perfect candidate is a person, who has talent or passion, that she/he wants to share with our children and staff.

It will be very good if she/he is able to work with little supervision only. Our volunteers must be disciplined and well organized, and have good group leadership skills. We have no specific requirements with regards to the character of volunteer's training and education. We particularly welcome people who in their own countries work with children on a regular basis e.g. teachers, tutors, psychologist etc. willing to share their professional experience with us and enhance work of our organization. However, the door to our organization remains wide open for all young people who would like to share their unique talents and enthusiasm in work with our patrons.

Tarefas: Volunteers participating in the Association program will be directly involved in work of one of our offices, providing services for socially disadvantaged children and youth. Volunteers will follow a daily schedule and provide program support of our social centers including: music, foreign language, art, plays, sport, cooking workshops), weekend outing, and more. Association amenities provide well equipped, professional and safe environment, design for the children and youth training. For all out of town/weekend programs (mainly in MaA‚opolska) our Association provides all necessary accommodation, provisions, transportation, and NW insurance. For the duration of the program we provide our young international volunteers with all needed assistance of our professional staff. Work in this city hub of international tourism, art and history, will give our young guests great opportunity to discover unique splendor of our city, its history and culture, as well as learn some Polish.

The volunteers will be offered to work with children and teenagers at one of our centers. They will be able to assists our staff in running their regular programs (music, art, plays, language training, etc) as well as take on their own initiatives such as organizing international youth gathering. Besides assisting in our regular programs, based on their personal skills and training, the participants of our volunteer program will be able to offer and run their own children workshops (e.g. sports, computer, foreign language, art, etc). In the past, individual presentation of volunteer's country's history and traditions, seemed to generate the most interest among our young audience.

Our volunteers will have the opportunities to take part in out of town trips, spend holidays with our children during winter and summer camps. There is also possibility to do some office work or take part in different projects, run by Project Department.

The volunteers will gain many new skills and experiences e.g. they will learn how to prepare and make workshops, how to coordinate projects and, what is the most important, they will improve they social skills.
