Resumo: The EVS volunteer will be focussing mainly on the international activities developed by the network.

Main target groups are mayors and local authorities, (inter)national associations of Cities and Municipalities, government officials including UN diplomats, and NGO's. The EVS volunteer will be invited to assist taking the campaign forward, getting involved in networking and consolidating the "2020 Vision Campaign" with target groups. Most activities will be carried out from the international campaign office.

The volunteer will be able to learn:
" about working with an international team including other European volunteers. This will increase the European awareness and citizenship.
" about campaigning and policy-work with an international organisation.
" languages (Dutch and English).
" working in a team.
The volunteer will have a say in the determination of the learning goals.

Perfil: - good knowledge of English
- basic computer programs such as E-mail, internet and wordprocessing
- Leadership- and communication skills
- Age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: - Work will be focussed on capacity building for the 2020 Vision Campaign with strong focus on membership development (both quantity and quality), communications (electronic magazine, website, …), develop media-work and fundraising.

- Daily work will include general campaigning work including research, lobbying, networking, preparation of campaign materials and preparation for, and participation in events involving Mayors. The volunteers will receive training in tasks they are not familiar with.

Condições: Subsídio mensal (Dinheiro de bolso): 105 €

Accommodation:
The EVS volunteer will be staying in a host-family together with another EVS volunteer. The rules and conditions that apply for the volunter in the host family will be convened between the volunteer and the host family upon arrival of the volunteer. The hosting organisation and the mentor will make sure that the agreement is fair and reasonable.
