Resumo: The hosting organization is located near the city. Local economy depends on agriculture production and cities and villages around it live with it. This is the environment where we offer our social services taking into consideration the factors that influence this society. Thus the volunteers will have to expect a rural society and there are 2 choices for staying. One is to stay in a room inside the organization´s building installations (if room availability permits and volunteer agrees with the rules of stay) or in a fully equipped house. The choice belongs to the volunteer. Food would be available at the building installations.

Transportation to/from Infirmary can be arranged along with the employees according to employees shifts during the day or by the use of a car that will be given to volunteers for this purpose only. Cycling is always an effective way of transportation in such a close distance.

The working facilities are modern inside the hospitable 2-floor building with comfortable sitting and refreshing room. There is also a seminar room with 200 persons capacity that can be easily transformed into an indoor gym for winter exercises. There is also a restaurant and conservatory
along the 2 floors and 34 rooms shared between floors with view to the gardens. The Infirmary operates in 3 shifts a day.

The proposed voluntary services include:
a) voluntary service with creative activities for the elderly such as handicrafts, physical education, music, dance, constructions, gardening, painting, pottery, table games, personal care, communication, free time entertainment and walking through individual and group activities.
b) voluntary service on planning, organizing and implementing activities with similar institutions from abroad in the frame of various European and World programmes. Creation and moderation of a webpage, design of a leaflet and organize an information/dissemination event for publicity.
Finally, volunteers will learn how to apply practical techniques for all mentioned works and will acquire knowledge and skills in social services.

The role of volunteers is important because they will add important value to the activities due to the new perspectives and opinions offered to our specialized personnel and apply to their daily tasks, while at the same time they learn new things by directly acquiring dexterities that will be recorded in the Youthpass at the end of their service. Moreover they will increase our knowledge, understanding and potential partners within the region the volunteer comes from. We are willing to host 5 international volunteers per six-month period.

Our aim is to occupy volunteers without discriminations and biases taking into consideration only the disposal for reliable work with willingness for learning, love for their work field and thus increasing the benefits for the target group and the local society. In each type and stage of their voluntary services we will offer support in any sector at any time creating a safe and stable environment of living and work. The interested volunteer sending organizations will have to ensure
us that their proposed volunteers fulfil and accept the conditions of stay and work in order to be accepted in our social services and start a successful collaboration between all involved partners and surely the volunteers themselves.

According to our needs, we calculated that we could cover our volunteering services with 5 volunteers for each 6-month servce starting on May 1st 2013.

The places of work and accommodation are already checked and licensed for providing their respected services for citizens.
