Resumo: Art workshop. (weaving, textiles, painting, ceramics, organic soap-making, candle-making, woodwork)

Our store provides a wide range of amenities for the residents and visitors. Organic produce, is sold along with other organic and traditional products as well as imported goods to suit the residents’ needs.

Once a former greenhouse, the café has long opening hours all summer and during the advent season. Many small concerts and
social occasions are held here year round.

We are looking for a person that wants to gain valuable experience in service-work in a diverse community.

Perfil: - 18 -30 years old,
- personal motivation with a focus on community sustainability,
- artistic skills/training,
- interest in food production
- ready to learn Icelandic,
- You should be aware of long, cold and dark winter days and nights in Iceland, and also of the bright summer nights when the sun hardly sets down.
- You should be open-minded, flexible, enthusiastic, independent, and responsible and be interested in working with people.

Tarefas:

Condições: - All volunteers work a full 8h day from Monday to Friday.
