Resumo: We have established the EVS guidelines in a document. The document has the steps and stages to carry out the project, as well as the people participating in it: mentor, person in charge of projects, collaborators, etc. Stages: Selection of volunteers, monitoring, evaluation, integration; Language training: in a course in the University. Volunteers obtain a diploma at the end.
Perfil: Open to any adult young person. The selection process is transparent, we have an open call through the e-mail, Internet and European channels. Candidates shall send a motivation letter. We usually do the selection between January and February. A multidisciplinary team integrated by the mentors, instructors, present volunteer and directive will asses the merits and motivations of each candidate, and will select the most appropriate one for the vacancy. We follow the rule that EVS should be a unique enriching experience for the volunteer and a contribution for the project.
