Resumo: Project: Children/Protection of children

Since 2005, our organization is implementing the project "Voluntary agency – Youth for Positive", which is designed to work with young people (pupils and students). The main objective of the project is training volunteers, which is carried out through personal development in four main areas: psychological, social, physical and spiritual. Volunteers are mostly students of the city and of the nearest rural areas.

The city is constantly build town, and every year there are more opportunities for sport, active recreation, self-actualization of children, youth and citizens. So everything gives volunteers an opportunity to get to know the city, as increases the chance of them integrating into the community.

Perfil: - interested in promotion of international volunteering in local community and youth work
- have been involved in national social projects
- interest in developing their experience on international level
- computer skills
- age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: Children/Protection of children

- creation of activities in orphanages and closed social schools (orphans, disabled children, juvenile offenders and e.t.c.);
- educational activities (intercultural workshops, presentations, English workshop) for kids at secondary schools,
- assist in organization of different trainings, seminars, conferences, volunteers schools, camps which provide hosting organization ;
- to lead leisure and sport activities, workshops and etc.

Horário: Possible week plan: 30 hours weekly:

* 12 hours weekly (mainly in the afternoon) – work with children at secondary schools, local social center
* 6 hours weekly – trips to one of 3 orphanages,
* 3 hours of Russian language course
* 4 hours of preparation and meetings with coordinator and other volunteers
* 5 hours for volunteers personal project (f.e. making workshops for children)

This schedule is considered to be just for the orientation and may be changed according to needs of the volunteer or placement. The working time can be in the morning or afternoon sometimes in the afternoon according to the activities.

Condições: Accommodation:
EVS Volunteers will be accommodated in 2-3 room flat, each volunteer will have his own room.

Food:
Volunteers will get pocket money and can buy food and prepare meals at home. In addition, there are many canteens and cafes in the city.

Formação: Volunteers will have a chance to attend language course to pick up the Russian language faster.
