Resumo: The first week after arriving will be entirely dedicated to an introduction training on how to work with mentally retarded people.

Perfil: - open and caring nature towards disabled people,
- flexible,
- patient,
- tolerant and responsible

Tarefas: - Volunteers will help by preparing materials and running
the activities. Help in dressing, feeding, cleaning during the workshops etc

- Specifically for the tasks at The Rehabilitation-Educative Centre for Children with Deep Intellectual Handicap and at Local House of Mutual Aid there are hard disabled children, so
volunteers will work with the help of special educators in feeding, dressing, stimulating the kids etc. (mostly physical work).

- Volunteers could teach English and make some artistic activities (own ideas are very welcome).

- At Workshop of Occupational Therapy the volunteers will help therapists, work individually with more disabled people, going for the practice, teaching English. Own ideas are welcome.

Naturally volunteers are encouraged to dedicate some of their spare time to plan and prepare their own activities, with the help of coordinators and therapists. Especially welcome from
the volunteers is to make a presentation about their country or teach a national song or dance or something else which will surely be funny and interesting. Every good idea will be most
welcome.

Formação: To avoid language gap we will encourage volunteers to master basic everyday Polish after arrival.
