Resumo: The majority of projects are intended for the young people.
The natural variety of our city, offered its inhabitants suitable conditions for living since very old-times. The sudden economical development of the city gains it the rank of free regal city. The industrial revolution brings a spectacular development of the branches that processes the local resources such as: alimentary industry, wood industry, fabric industry and many others. The geographical position, social background and economical situation of the local community are just a few elements that are very important in one EVS project.

By involving the EVS volunteers we want to improve the local community situation from different points of view (discovering new cultures, new ideas, new attitudes, common values, the necessity of respecting the others ), we will create a European reality around them, we will sustain several principles underlying the concept of active citizenship, etc.

In the moment that the volunteers come in the city, the persons that are responsible with the project will do their best to help them with accommodating the volunteers in the new community, to introduce and integrate them and to show them around. We will give the volunteers the possibility to work both in an urban and rural environment in order to acquire a varied experience, to be able to see the differences, to adapt and have different experiences and to bring work together with locals, even if they come social environments, having different religions, social statuses, as they will learn to be tolerant and not to discriminate.

From the activities that we propose for the EVS volunteers can be mentioned both individual and group activities.

Tarefas: a) “Alternative Picnic” Activity
- finding the suitable picnic place;
- preparing and decorating public picnic places out of eco friendly material;
- organizing activities like “intercultural picnic”;
- preparing and disseminating a map of the picnic and outdoor activity suitable places;
- writing a user guide for the picnic places so people and children know how to use them and keep them clean and friendly

b) “Hicking&Orienteering” Activity
- Finding suitable places for activities like hiking and orienteering in the natural park;
- marking the hiking roads, arranging and cleaning the pleaces where the visitors can take a break
- organizing orienteering contests and trips for youngsters
- creating a orienteering map of Arad green areas and also publish it on-line.

c) Horse ride
- cleaning and helping take care of horses from the pony club
- promote pony club and help the stuff organize their activities for children
d) language classes for youngsters with social and educational obstacles
