Resumo: The main activities implemented by this project will contribute to develop the rural areas from Valcea county and to involve Rroma community in the civic life of the local communities. These activities will be implemented using a range of non formal education methods as: workshops, debates, forum theatre, street animation, structured dialogue, word cafe, photo voice, film voice.
Project’s objectives :

- To promote multicultural and multilingual skills
- To develop entrepreneurship skills among the volunteers and young Rroma people from rural communities.
- To exchange good practices for rural development by means of European collaboration.
Perfil: - young person aged between 18-30 years.
- Gender balance- same number girls and boys
- Young person with fewer opportunities
- Young person who wants to work in rural and Rroma communities in order to develop those communities and promote the communitarian actions.
Tarefas: - participating to the formation session
- participating to the project preparation - the volunteers will make a video of the active participation specific to the rural communities of origin where will take interviews to the young people regarding the active participation and the volunteer participation at communitarian actions
- organizing specific activities of spending the free time, outdoor activities, sport games and ecological education activities for the young people from rroma and rural communities (painting, music, photo, video, foreign languages, IT, communication and participation workshops).
- activities of preserving and promoting the traditions from the rural and rroma communities.
- Organizing regional seminars whose purpose will promote the rural development, promoting the young rroma involvement and promoting the EVS program.
- organizing a festival of rural and Rroma communities. This festival will be held on April 8th, 2013, same day with the celebration of International Day of Rroma.
- organizing workshops in schools in rural communities on development of creative skills among students - aged 11-15 years and will focus on acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies among students for active participation at community’s life and knowledge of personal and professional development opportunities through non-formal education methods. Each workshop will last 3 hours daily and will focus on topics such as environmental education, development of outdoor activities, communication and responsibility, knowledge of rights of young people, school orientation, knowledge of EU institutions, EU policies and their role in youth.
The main activities of the EVS stage will be accompanied by secondary activities like:
- permanent update of the project webpage with information about the EVS stage, photos from activities, videos from the activities
- posting information about the EVS stage on the project blog
- making promotional posters, flyers, newsletters, press release
- taking interviews with young people from the rroma and rural communities
- publishing press articles in the local press about the EVS stage
- making TV shows about the EVS stage
Horário: The volunteers will spend 5 working hours, from Monday to Friday.
Volunteers will also have days off when are the legal national holidays in Romania (1st of December, 24th of January, 1st of May, 24th of June, 15th of August).
Condições: The volunteers` accommodation will be done in flats, situated in the centre. Each apartment has 2 dorms, 1 living room, balcony, fully equipped kitchen, and bathroom. Also, the flat is equipped with TV, Internet, washing machine, cooker, fridge and dishes.
