Resumo: The hosting organizations was established in 2001 by a cultural group dedicated to foster and promote a better understanding about the African issues and culture, and prevent the exclusion among African community living in Jönköping while assisting the most disadvantaged groups.

Today the organization has 203 registered members 10 volunteers and 1 paid staff.
The target groups of the organization are the Swedish med African origin community, other immigrant communities and the wider community living in Jönköping and neighboring councils.
Activities:
1-AfrotV: the organization produces, 60 min. TV program that airs every Thursday at Jönköping local TV. The program bridges the African community in Jönköping to the wider community.
2- International program: To contribute to build a better world for all and built bridges between cultures and at the same time work hard together with other organization in eradicating hunger and poverty in African.
3- Youth and child activities

5- Educational programs
6- Democracy and gender project
7- Integration project

Formação: During the preparation the young volunteer will participate different course organized by the association. The courses will be included courses like HIV/AIDS prevention education, community development, global issues, environment issues and integrated learning programs where the volunteer can learn different cultures and global issues.

The young volunteer will also get help in getting visas, physicals, prescriptions, vaccinations, insurance, money, packing, airfare and will be prepared mentally.

In following up there will be a coordinator who will be available 24/7 for volunteer for daily support, fellow up and assistance for any emergence, online chat for one hour daily, daily email contacts, and 10 min. telephone contacts per week will be used in contacting the volunteer.

Sharing The experience:
a) The Organisation activities include Afro TV program that airs from Jonkoping Local TV every week. AFROTV programs include Youth program which is produced by the young people. This program can be seen almost all Jonkoping counties households, the volunteers will share his/her experience through this program.
b) Discussion meeting, seminars will be also organized.
c) This organization has contacts and cooperation with more than 10 schools in Jonkoping County and that will be a great opportunity that the volunteers can share his/her experience with the students.
d)African week is organized by the hosting organization every year during summer time, and that will be also a chance that the volunteers can share his/her experience to the younger population and others.
e) Information about the volunteers work will be published and distributed to the libraries, to youth organizations.
