Resumo: It has two main goals:

1. With the help of multimedia, volunteers will promote volunteering and advocate for protection of human rights;

2. EVS volunteers will organize an International volunteer camp where 10 international volunteers will organize and lead summer activities for kids in the local community;

3. Familiarizing the local people with the opportunities they will have as citizens of the European Union.

With the help of expert volunteers will expand their knowledge in the field: the creation of a multimedia space, creating - shooting and editing of audiovisual materials, creating promotional material content, and handmade products (traditional products and puppets).
Volunteers from the project will have multiple benefits as they will acquire specific skills and knowledge, training, mentoring and activities carried out by competent and experienced professionals.
Their competencies will be documented in the volunteers Youthpass so that they may become more competitive in the labour market when returning to their country.

Volunteers will bring to our community, "a breath of fresh air" that will be good motivation for active participation of our youth in volunteer activities. The life of international EVS volunteers will be encouraging and indeed observed in the social life of our little town.

Perfil: - age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: - lead English language and creative workshops for beginners where possible.

- Participation in activities related to organising small and large events in the community, for example; International Peace Day, Youth Day or Volunteer Day or organising large two/three day festivals. This will include, logistics, infrastructure, coordination of visitors or participants, planning and organising specific parts of the program, preparing materials necessary, serving refreshments, looking after the disabled or elderly, cleaning tasks, running activities such as workshops or entertainment activities, looking after the press or VIPs etc…

- Planning and executing activities for beneficiaries
Activities which take place minimum one time per month; volunteers will assist in designing, planning and organising: children's workshops, youth and senior citizen workshops, workshops for community services organisations, competitions for youth, practical exercises for training sessions, clean up days, help for senior citizens and similar. They will become familiar with how the NGO sector works in Croatia; learn how to adapt the learning tools and methods as well as their communication to the different target groups; what kind of activities are most appropriate for various target groups in relation to objectives we want to achieve; how to motivate beneficiaries to participate in designed activities; which specific competencies are required to implement and carry out activities successfully and how to review and report on completed activities.

- Volunteer database agency services
An ongoing service of providing volunteers for other community organisations such as the Red Cross, the senior citizens residential facility homes, other community services organisations assisting volnureable and disadvantaged citizens and in partnership with Social welfare centres.

This activity will involve; checking databases and matching organisations to volunteers; communicating with the community organisations about their needs and contacting and organising volunteers for such needs; training volunteers for the job/activity in the community organisations and evaluation of the process and volunteer perfomance after the event; filling in volunteer booklets to recognise the number of hours volunteered and recognising volunteer efforts.
