Resumo: Support disadvanted 11-16 year olds to volunteer!

Our organization supports disadvantaged young people aged 11-16. These young people are offered opportunities to get involved with citizenship, volunteering & campaigning.
The work is carried out outside of curriculum time – during lunchtimes at schools or in after-school clubs in youth centres.

We provide employees and volunteers with overhead management and infrastructure. Bournemouth YMCA is a charity committed to helping young people, particularly at times of need, regardless of gender,race,ability or faith.

Volunteers should be prepared for varied tasks of which there will be some that require creativity and leadership and others which will require patience or communication.

Tarefas: • To assist young people in running their own volunteering projects.
• To assist with monitoring and evaluating targets.
• To assist with appropriate training for young people recruited. • To help young people have their efforts accredited.
• To support the young people’s steering groups.
• To assist with promoting projects at conferences, meetings and events.
• To contribute to review meetings.
