Resumo: We are a non profit organisation created in 1997 and our aim is to enhance cultural mutual understanding.

To reach this goal, we help to youth mobility and we lead actions to educate to inequalities between developed and undeveloped countries.
We have priviledged partnerships with Romans’ twin and cooperation towns.

Perfil: - interested by different cultures
- willing to work with a young public in the areas of animation among a team
- some knowledges in French
- age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: - Help with the organisation of the young people’s exchanges –participate in preparation meetings, meeting with the young peeople, listening to their wishes, practical organisation of activities and workshops during the exchanges : 10%

- Participate in the publicity of the association’s activities : the volunteer will work on information sessions about Romans International beside various local structures. He or she will present the association, its activities and will be able to put into place communication tools (posters, exhibitions, power ponits, testimonies) : 10%

- Disscuss with future volunteers of his experience as an EVS volunteer, how he/she became an EVS volunteer, the difficulties he/she might have encountered, the positive aspects 10%

- Participate in the worshops in schools about development inequities in the world : preparation and running of the workshops avec the paid worker : 10%

- Support the team in the organisation of local events such as the International Biennale or the Carnival : the organisation of workshops for the young people, help with the coordination of the events, propositions of event : 20%

- Develop partnerships with local structures or even the local community centers. As a consequence the volunteer will be able to particpate in leading activities with these structures and their coordinators. He or she will be able to discover other local associations and inform the young people of these structures about international opportunities : 30%

- The volunteer, as a member of the team, will take part in the team’s weekly meetings and other coordination meetings : 10%

The volunteer will have the chance to develop a personal project. His or her hours will be worked out if the cases arises.

Horário: The volunteer will work thirty hours per week and has the right to 2 days holiday each month.

Condições: 1. The volunteers will receive 200€ per month to pay for their food.

2. The volunteers will be lodged in individual rooms and will share a kitchen and bathroom with one or two other people, in an individual apartment.
