Resumo: DAYTIME ACTIVITIES CENTER - The service, launched in 2005 and located in the South of the City of Turin, is aimed at the intellectually light disabled minor or moderate ultra-16 years old. It is a center for daytime activities characterized by productive activities such as: restyling and tailoring, computer graphics, creating jewelry that is designed to promote the acquisition of pre-employment skills and the maintenance / enhancement of personal autonomy.

- The volunteer is actively involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of activities, attend meetings of the organizational team and will share his ideas, can take the initiative also developing a personal project and evaluate the activities providing a contribution to improve them, sharing feelings and point of view.

- manage creative animation support and enhancing its capabilities, such as organizing games and parties, working with the team in the activities conducting, to be present in the arrival and departure moments of children between activities, participation in meetings and organizational collaboration in the design and evaluation of activities.

The goal is to provide active participation in children's activities to facilitate the development of their social skills and their autonomy in a perspective of social inclusion.

Perfil: age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: - the volunteers will be able to identify one or more laboratories in which participate (music, theatre, art, etc.) and the social and leisure activities (moments of self-management on arrival and departure, the relaxation after meal, and the more free targeted outputs, etc..) which focus more and which give their support.

- help to manage creative animation and support enhancing the ability of individuals with disabilities, for example they can help to organize games and parties, working with the team in conducting art and expression workshops (ceramics, painting, theatre, music, crafts , etc..), accompany the operators on the outputs and visits to museums, the park, on the occasion of cultural events and summer camps organized by the services, be present in times of arrival and departure of the group between activities, participation at organizational meetings and collaboration in the design and evaluation of activities.
