Resumo: Our institution, the place of employment, is situated at the western city border of Dortmund ( at about 600 000 inhabitants). You can reach the place of employment just as good by public means of transport as by car.

The volunteer has to accept the values of the European Charta. Principles like human rights, democracy, rules of law, and personal freedom have to be respected.

The volunteer will get an insight of the children's daily life and get the opportunity to form it actively by organising additional projects and leisure activities.

Perfil: - able to communicate in german (more than basic!)
- Age 20 until 30 year old
- interest in the work with children and adolescants
- We can`t accept addicts and mentally disabled persons

Tarefas: Exemplary tasks for the volunteer:
- accompany the pupils to and collect them from school
- preparation of food snacks and lunch for the pupils
- support of the pupils in doing their homework
- indoor and outdoor leisure activities like handicraft, painting, sports activities,…)
- assistance in additional projects and seasanol activities like kite building, cooking, baking, environmental projects, harvest festival, "ghost night"…)
- shopping
- individual support of the pupils (reading, writing, calculating)

Horário: We offer a flexible whole day care from 07.30 am until 04.40 pm and a "small care" from 07.30 am until 02.00 pm.

Condições: A german language course wil be provided to the volunteer during his working time.
