Resumo: The organisation is active in the field of environmental education. Since 1996 we work in the Environmental educational centre, which is a unique historical farmstead with 8,5 hectares of green areas like an orchard, fields, gardens, pastures and a wetland.

It also includes a small city farm in which we raise sheep, goats, a cow, horses, pigs, bees, some poultry and rabbits, mainly for educational purposes. The farm gives children the opportunity to learn about the life of domestic farm animals and the agricultural lifestyle without having to travel far from Prague metropolitan area.

Tarefas: - develop skills and gain knowledge in the field of environment, environmental education and Czech national traditions and culture
- make part of the every day's life of the Environmental centre

o Help with realisation of the non-formal educational programmes for children

o Preparing materials and tools for educational lectures

o Painting posters and banners for big events
o Photodocumentation of activities
o Preparing costumes and masks for traditional carnivals
o Decorating educational rooms

Computer work
o Preparing promotion materials
o Updating webpage
o Arrangement of photos

Depending on the interest of the volunteer, he/she could also join work and activities of our partner organisations, for example:

Nature area
o maintaining the vegetable and herb garden
o help in the orchard
o maintaining the nature trail

Farm
o taking care of animals (poultry, pigs, sheep, cows, goats, horses, rabbits, etc.)
o leading horses with children

Ecological kindergarten
o taking care of children
o help with preparation of environmental educational activities in the kindergarten

Condições: He/she will have an instant access to Internet in the office and in his room.

The volunteer will have personal support of the Volunteer's coordinator, the Mentor and other stuff of organisation.

Formação: The volunteer will attend Czech language classes with a private teacher regularly.
