Resumo: Volunteers can either work with young people (e.g. Children´s Parliament) or develop their own ideas regarding child-friendliness and concerning the tasks of the Kinderbüro. This concept development includes all steps, from planning the project to putting it into practice. After an introduction period the volunteer can decide in a participatory way (together with the team) where he/she would like to work.

Perfil: In this particular project, no specific skills are necessary. The candidate should be interested to work in an office and with the computer, and he or she should be interested to work for and with children as well.

Tarefas: The projects where the volunteer can be involved: Children´s Rights ' The cornerstone of our work is the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child. e.g. TrauDi! - The Styrian Award for Children´s Rights. It is one of our biggest projects. For example taking pictures, interviews, research work, helping to prepare the big event and much more. Education and Science ' We are always a step ahead in topics concerning kids and society! e.g. electromagnetic pollution - dangers and risks for children. The volunteer can search and provide information. Urban and Traffic planning ' We demand the mandatory involvement of kids and youngsters in all decisions that affect them! e.g. "Auf Kinderfüßen unterwegs" (to walk in children's shoes) Living ' We demand to consider the special needs of children and youngsters in their nearest surroundings. e.g. Series of lectures "Kinder(t)räume" (children's rooms/dreams) Economy ' Companies are our partners in new projects in the fields of child-friendliness. e.g. watching out for child- and family friendly hotels and restaurants. Supporting the project and platform for young people: www.einstein-junior.at. The exact working field and tasks always depends on the personality of the volunteer. We are open for new ideas and projects from the side of the volunteer.
