Resumo: The campus consists of main building, which is a beautiful old wooden building, two other teaching buildings and two rooming houses, all right next to each other.
The volunteers will board in the rooming house of the folk high school in a room for one or two persons (depending on the amount of boarders at the time). Volunteers will be boarding in the same building with our students and will have a possibility to have common free time activities with them.
There is a toilet and shower in each room and common kitchen per 6 boarders. There is a wireless internet in the boarding house, and there are two computers that boarders may use. In the rooms there is a bed, desk, chairs, pendant and reading lamp. Smoking is prohibited in all the rooms. There is a laundry machine in utilisation of boarders and a possibility to go to sauna once a week.
Perfil: - have experience in music,
- thetre,
- dance
- isual arts.
- age: 18 until 30 years old
- able to communicate in english
- basic computer skills.
Volunteers also need to be ready to live in a small community in the countryside.
Tarefas: - planning,
- organising and realising these events and that way learn about producing events.
- could also share their culture and their experiences in cultural exhange to students of Varsinais-Suomen Kansanopisto and plan and organise theme days about their culture.
- could also visit the schools and kindergartens nearby and visit the classes of english or other languages to tell about their culture and converse with the students.
We also co-operate with a workshop for unemploeyed young people, and could find activities for volunteers there too.
