Resumo: Our Community is a family house for unaccompanied foreign minors and Italian minors which committed little crimes.

In the Community actually live 14 male adolescents in the age of 14–18 years, with various nationalities (Italian, Rumanian, Moroccan, Tunisian, Egyptian,etc. ) and different religious and cultural backgrounds.
Inside the Community the boys participate in educational and creative programs such as placements in schools, language lessons, psychological assistance, cultural mediation, promotion of intercultural dialogue, development with family of origin, juridical assistance, guiding to develop self management, assistance in job search and placement possibilities, organization of events and initiatives in order to create awareness among the local territory about themes such as minor’s rights, intercultural dialogue, friendship between populations, international cooperation.

The community works since 2010 with EVS volunteers and is therefore familiar with hosting young European volunteers, their necessities and the opportunities.

Perfil: • some verbal knowledge of the Italian language,
• eventual knowledge of French, Arabic or Spanish language could help
• strong interest for social, psychological and pedagogical matters
• interest or competences regarding some of the professional areas of the Workshops: cooking and taste education, biological agriculture, ICT, bicycle reparation, carpentry, keeping little farm animals
• competences regarding the possibility to organize creative and art workshops about music, photography, video, painting, theatre etc.
• availability to live in a rural area
- age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: • assisting educators during the daily community activities;
• at the during the day,
• participation in the weekly team meetings and in the periodical supervising
• participation in the training sessions for the educators
• assisting the activities carried out during the educational activities, cooking, cleaning, garden work, school assistance
• participating at / or organizing creative workshops (sport, art, language lessons, computer, cooking. etc)
• collaborating during the daily housework
• collaborating during the organization of events and awareness initiatives about themes such as minor’s rights, intercultural dialogue, friendship between populations, international cooperation
