Perfil: - interested in working with young people with different cultural backgrounds, organizing leisure activities and workshops withinn democracy questions;

- interested in working with people with disabilities, organizing activities and workshops, making research work

- interested in media and film production, taking pictures, creating blogs, creating flyers and posters

- interested in working with international activities, organizing cultural evenings, inform young people about international projects

All the volunteers should be motivated to work in a team of project leaders and other volunteers,

Tarefas: The volunteers will be working with different areas such as democracy, culture, disability and unemployment as well as with different target groups. The main activities for the volunteers will be to create activitities and wokshops, create informational material (such as flyers, posters, videos, pictures, etc), participate in informationa meetings to young people and develop own projects and ideas.

Horário: Here is an example of a day-schedule for the volunteers:

9.00 Day meeting and explanation/scheduling of day/week tasks
10.00 Work on day activities and tasks
12.00 Lunch
13.00 Work on day activities and tasks
14.00 Swedish lessons

The volunteers will work up to 35 hours a week (including Swedish lessons) and here is an example of a working week:

MONDAY
Morning: Meet the supervisor and prepare the week schedule and tasks
Afternoon: Check e-mail, update blog, and update Facebook

TUESDAY
Morning: Help preparing a workshop about social media to a group of youngsters with disabilities (select material, create flyers and invitations, contact participants, and write blog text)
Afternoon: Swedish lesson

WEDNESDAY
Morning: Plan and organize a cultural evening
Afternoon: Design a poster for promoting a cultural evening in

THURSDAY
Morning: Plan and prepare a video about the activities and projects
Afternoon: Film during a campaign for active youth citizenship

FRIDAY
Morning: Meet mentor, write report of the week
Afternoon: Swedish lessons

Condições: The volunteers will live in a residence. In this residence the volunteers have a single or a double room and share a kitchen and a bathroom with other students and volunteers.

In the school there is a gym, a sports hall, computer rooms, a library and different ateliers/studios where the volunteers can spend part of their free time. The school is surrounded by a beautiful nature where the volunteers can go for a walk, canoeing or bird watch for example.

Food and meals

The volunteers eat breakfast (Monday-Friday) and dinner (Monday-Thursday) in the refectory of the High school.
The volunteers prepare the rest of the meals (lunch on weekdays and meals for the weekend) by themselves in the kitchen of the residence.
