Resumo: our organization is a recognised charitable society.

We are a member of the Association of Anthroposophic Remedial Teaching, Social work and in the German Association of Charitable Trusts.
We see it as our task to encourage and provide a second home for children, youth and young adults who suffer from a mental or psychological disablement. The young people are the focal point of our community. The principles of our work are based on the anthroposophic remedial teachings of Rudolf Steiner.
We accompany and encourage theseyoung people during their school and employment seeking time.

Our main aim is to assist them to find a conduct of live as independent and as meaningful as possible. With appropriate fostering and leisure activities, accompaniment through anthroposophical treatment and therapeutic stages we offer several impulses in their development.

Important elements in our work are rythmically arranged daily, weekly and annual routines. In this routine the fostering of religion and the celebration of religious events have a firm position. The social community receives special emphasis.

Perfil: - open to working with young disabled people
- Driver licence is helpful,
- age 18-29

Tarefas: They accompany the children and young people throughout the day. They are helping according to the requirements of the child or the youngster. Some of them need a constant assistant during the day. The others will only need help in specific situations.

- help to get up in the morning,
- personal hygiene,
- cooking of meals
- help during the meal with eating.

An important field of the work of the volunteer will also be the leisure time activities.

- Hiking in the nature,
- shopping in town,
- celebration of festivities,
- the visit of cultural events and much more.

Our major task, to offer a home, is creating our daily working routine.
We are working in the morning before the children and young people are leaving for school, in the afternoon after school and on weekends. Every member of the team has fixed working times in a week and two days of. We try to take personal Interests and needs (for example language course) into account.

Condições: The volunteers are accommodated in a separate and furnished room at the placement. Kitchen and bathroom are part of the apartment but have to be shared with other volunteers. Volunteers are taking part in the communal feeding. Special wishes for food are taken into account. On free days and in holidays money for food will be paid out.
