Resumo: The volunteer will participate to the different activities of the cinema together with the workers and the French volunteers: the promotion of the cinema towards the public. Territory: the arty movies, the young public cinema, the program with the associations, the festivals. The volunteer will also participate to the animations of the exhibition space, and the cultural coffee shop (animations around arts, crafts, music, ..°).

This project will give the volunteer an experience of the backside of the cinema: because this is a small organisation working around the movies production, the volunteer will have the possibility to rise his/her own cinema culture by seeing various movies, to discover all the missions connected to the running of this association, but also to build some animations connected with his/her centres of interest.

He/she will meet the workers and the French volunteers of Manivel, this will be a chance to build new contacts and to reinforce his/her knowing of French culture and language.

Tarefas: The volunteer will have two main missions :

1. to develop the link with the french volunteers of the association to bring more dynamism between them,
2. to contribute to new actions around the animation of the cinema.

His/her tasks will be :
- participate to the tickets selling,
- welcome the public (in a team of 7 people: volunteers and workers): this time is important to build good contacts with the volunteers of the cinema and with the public, to become quickly fluent in French, and to meet French people.
- Participation to the program workshops with the volunteers and the workers (these groups work on the preparation of the festivals, the arty movies, the young public movies, the cine-coffee-house)

1. Administrative tasks:

- writing the programs, documentation about the films for the public,
- printing the programs,
- giving the information

2. Evening activities:
- in the coffee-shop, welcoming the artists for the exhibitions or for the concerts
- Writing articles in the members newspaper every month, about the running of the cinema (workers, volunteers, etc..)
- updating the website page about the other volunteers hosted in Redon during the year

According to the activities of the cinema, the volunteer will have the possibility to organize special events, for example an evening in relation with his native country and region. These events can also be organized with other associations or schools of the town. There can be some movies presented about his/her country, a music group, some food tasting, some exhibitions.

Condições: The volunteer should be aware that the activities of the cinema are taking place mainly on evenings and week-ends.
