Resumo: Our aim is offer German youngsters in European foreign countries as well as international youngsters in Germany the possibility to be involved in social, ecological or cultural facilities and projects.

Through this cooperation they should get to know people, language and culture of the hosting country. Like that they give a contribution for the growing together of Europe and achieve good requirements for their chances in profession and their social integration.

The work is labour-intensive, many youngsters already jump off, before the project applications have been made.

The hosting (we are coordinating organization then) of approx. 10 volunteers in our own projects (e.g., railway station mission, café International and after school clubs) offers the possibility of a 12-month EVS to engaged international young people.

At the same time we would like to offer a 6-12 month EVS abroad to engaged people from Germany (approx. 10 volunteers).

Our main activitiy time in short-term projects will be the July and August. We know the projects well, ex-volunteers from one of the first projects help with the preparation of the new volunteers. Good partnerships have been established.
At the same time we would like to offer this possibility to undeprivileged youngsters from our international partners who can take part in short-term projects in our holiday's programmes to gather courage to possibly come again some time for a whole year.
