Perfil: 18 aged and more

Tarefas: Projects of the Youth Centre are several and organised according to different ages: from little children till youngsters.

After an initial period of observation of the different activities proposed by the Centre, the volunteer will choose with their tutor the activities he/she wants to engage in, in consideration of his/her personal skills and wishes.

Horário: Winter Period:

MONDAY
• 10.00 – 12.00 : Meeting with Tutor, monitoring and activities planning
• 12.00 – 14.00 : Lunch and break
• 14.00– 16.00: Fuori Orario - entertainment project addressed to children’s, preadolescent’s and teenager’s free time. The volunteer will be integrated in the project and will be side by side with the educator and volunteers in the activities. These activities can be free or structural games, or workshops (ex. Cooking lesson, It will be interesting if the volunteer can prepare a tipical dish from his culture, Music Lesson and games, his/her experience can sure help us in organizing them, and sport tournatements)

TUESDAY
• 9.00 – 12.00 : Project “Alice’s Home” -addressed to families with children aged between one and three years. The volunteer will be side by side with the educators and other volunteers in the nursing of children.
Alternately the volunteer can prepare and organize materials for project’s activities.
• 12.00 – 14.00 : Lunch and break
• 14.00 – 16.00: Fuori Orario
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY : free days – The free days will be agreed during weeks with the volunteer. They will not be automatically during Saturday and Sunday, because during these days there are a lot of activities.

FRIDAY
• 9.30 – 12.00 : Educators’s equipe
• 12.00 – 14.00 : Lunch & break
• 14.00 – 18.00: Fuori Orario

SATURDAY
• 9.00 – 12.00 : Program in middle ages school – In cooperation with the Chiari’s middle ages school some educational projects are developed. The themes of this projects are different, for example “Peace” ,“Critical Consumption” & “ Intercultural” –the volunteer will work side by ch & break
• 14.00 – 18.00: Fuori Orario side with educators and they can propose activities or main themes.
• 12.00 – 14.00: Lunch & break
• 14.00 –19.00 : Dream Bar – the Youth Center’s bar (educational project of a bar managed by a volunteer group. The volunteer will be integrated, with other volunteers, in the DreamBar project. The bar is open to young people).

SUNDAY
Break in the morning
• 14.00 – 18.00: animation for the adolescents (Fuori Orario)
• 18.00 – 20.00 : Dinner & break
• 20.00 – 23.00: Dream Bar TOTAL :35h a week

Summer Period

Summer Period is characterized by the activity of Grest with children and youngsters. Fundamentally during this period free days are Saturday and Sunday.

What’s GREST?
every year we propose two experiences of Recreational Summer Centre, one for the pupils of the elementary school; and the other for the youngsters of the secondary school and the high school. During this time we propose moments of game and particular experiences in relation to the age and the characteristics of the participants (trips, sport activities, cultural initiatives…). The volunteer will participate in the planning of activities, and will work with other educators, as a support.

We’d like the volunteer can help us in preparing this activity. Every year new main themes & activities are proposed and we’d like some of these activities can from different culture so it can help to underline intercultural theme.
