Tarefas: It is important to us, that the volunteers take on their special role, because of their cultural background they should integrate into our daily program in the form of offers, campaigns or the like. For this they can collect many interesting experiences during their work, that on one side have to do with the work with handicapped children, and on the other side try themselves at projects that correspond to their interests and abilities.

Group Project

The group project is planned as follows:
- develop and implement various projects for children, youth and families together with the volunteers
- sensitize our target groups for other cultures and other livestyles. The work shall be focused on the target to open the mind and to built interest for the unknown and strange one.

They work together on a self chosen collaborative project between the other 5 host projects which will endure during their whole service period.

Horário: The weekly working hours will be 25 hours in the host project. So we have 10 additional hours for the common project with other volunteers of other host projects.

Condições: The volunteers will be accommodated in two flats with 3 and 4 rooms. We take for granted that the volunteers keep their flat tidy. If the house rules say so the volunteers have also to take over cleaning responsibility for the house and its surroundings.
The flats have a good condition. Each volunteer will have his/her own room. The rooms have different sizes.

Formação: Our volunteers will visit a weekly language course German as a foreign language. This course will be offered for different knowledge levels. The volunteers can attend during their whole stay. Since the number of volunteers will increase we think to offer a private lecturer for language courses to orient more on the needs of the volunteers and to speed up the learning progress.
