Resumo: - the project is located near Berlin, metropolis and capital of Germany
- 45 000 citizens, lots of woods and open spaces. The town is in relation to the number of inhabitants very extensive
- the day care centre is between a primary school and the local swimming baths in a residential area
- population is made up mostly of families with young children living in their own houses
- most inhabitants work in Berlin, there isa
-relatively low unemployment rates
- social conditions are generally good, there are recreation opportunities for children, also for young people - especially in Berlin
- trainservices to Berlin are good and frequent, there is local bus transport

Perfil: Volunteers should enjoy working with children ages 3-6 and should be willing to communicate in English as a lot of the work with the children will be in English.

Tarefas: - helping children when they ask you to (dressing, comforting, accompanying, giving out food etc)
- share morning circle activities (welcoming, singing songs, working with Montessori materials, handicraft, etc
- introduce yourself, your language, your country and whatever is important to you
- document your time here (fotos, short texts etc)
- help setting up an international drop in facilitiy (meeting place) for families. Meet interesting people and talk withthem about their and your issues
- develop your own project ideas (with our support if you like)

Horário: A typical day :
6.00 - 8.00 free play
8.00 - 8.30 breakfast
8.00 - 9.30 children arrive, free play
9.30 - 10.15 morning circle (project work, Montessori, music, sports etc)
10.30 - 11.30 free play
11.30 - 12.00 lunch
12.15 - 13.30 rest (recreation period, young ones sleep)
13.30 - 14.00 snack
14.00 - 18.00 free play, children are picked up
