Resumo: Our center is focusse on activities related to training in social and leisure fields. It offers official degree courses, monographic courses, etc.

Target group: young people.

Our aim is to educate in values by means of leisure for children and youngsters from the district, the city and the neighbouring towns. It presents many resources, achieved through the years: a toy library, a library for children and young people, computers' room, sports fields, climbing wall, leisure groups, football teams,...

Perfil:

Tarefas: - Collaborate with staff and volunteers in the up-date and spreading of information about courses, activities, grants, seminars,…
- Collaborate in dissemination campaigns concerning the YiA Programme: giving out of brochures, round tables, courses, information tables,…
- give vinformation about the YiA Programme (exchanges, EVS,…).
- Collaborate in the activities at the leisure room, library, computers' room and youth room: school support, games, reading, workshops,…
- Collaborate in the activities at the centre: folk celebrations, Magosto, Christmas, summer camps, trips, folk feasts,…
- programming and assessment of the activities: preparation of material, search of resources,...
- Carry out a personal project related with any of the activities of the Centre, according to preferences, abilities and skills.

Horário: Time of participation: from Monday to Friday, 30 hours/week.

Socio-cultural training: 1.5 hours/month.

Condições: Two free days/week: Sunday/Monday; holidays: free.

Holidays: 2 days / month of project. 24 days in a 12-month project, which may be taken together or distributed in different periods: Christmas, Easter, Summer,... In agreement with the people in charge of the centre.
