Perfil: - interested in media, youth information (project A) and culture and art management (project B) and intercultural and international cooperation.
- experience in these areas will be welcome but not required.
- open-minded,
- eager to learn and enjoying interaction with other people.
- age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: PILSEN 2015 PROJECT

- supports activities to assure a lively cooperation and integration of actions concerning the cultural exchange between Germany and Czechia. For this the volunteer also helps to prepare and co-run seminars especially for Czech and German cultural organizations and institutions to get them into international cooperation.

- participation in coaching of a group of young volunteers to support German-Czech cultural events and youth exchanges taking place in and outside of Pilsen and partner cities in Germany.

A typical day:

inside activities: research on Czech and German cultural organizations, co-planning contact-seminars for Czech and German cultural organizations an subjects, co-organizing a bi-monthly meeting for cultural organizations and institutions in Pilsen or outdoor activities (for one or more days): visiting different events referring to Czech-German cultural exchange in both countries, co-organizing and co-running contact seminars for involved Czech and German cultural organizations and potential partners

assisting to coach the volunteer pool: take part in bi-weekly meetings to plan small cultural events staged by young people, developing intercultural city games and guided tours based on peer-to-peer education, take part in public events in Pilsen or Regensburg

Condições: The volunteer has his/her own room in a student dormitory close to the office.

The volunteer gets his/her food money and usually has a lunch together with the rest of the team of Tandem.

Formação: The language training is based on the wishes of the volunteer.
Both conventional language courses and private lessons are available.
