Tarefas: A) AHOJ.INFO PROJECT
The crucial part of the volunteer project is connected with the Czech-German youth web portal. It's an online space started and developed by previous EVS volunteers in both Pilsen and Regensburg, supported by their project leaders and other members.
The role of the volunteer is to:
- develop and manage the site,
- excite other young people from both Czechia and Germany to contribute to the portal
- update it with information on the neighbouring country, international workcamps, job practice, language learning, seminars and training courses etc.
Another big field of activity for the volunteer are:
- taking part in seminars,
- planning and organizing events (seminars, presentations etc.),
- promoting the website
- helping in running information campaigns etc.
A typical day:
09:00-10:00
start, correspondence, reading news on the Internet
10:00-11:00
inside activities: website and Internet (new contacts, information, creation of web-pages, management the online community of collaborators, planning and preparing of events) or outdoor activities (for one or more days): visiting of different youth-relevant public events (youth-fairs, festivals and youth-cultural events) - presentations of voluntary services and other opportunities for youth people in both countries, presentations of the project website on schools and youth centres/youth clubs etc.

dealing with individual's request and questions, information about the possibilities of study or youth activities in Germany

* The above mentioned "typical day" information rather suggests usual activities and their set up, much more than describing a real day.
Condições: The volunteer has his/her own room in a student dormitory close to the office.
The volunteer gets his/her food money and usually has a lunch together with the rest of the team of Tandem.
Formação: The language training is based on the wishes of the volunteer.
Both conventional language courses and private lessons are available.
