Special requirement: without any serious criminal records, because we are working with kids and youngsters
Tarefas: 1. youth and kinds in kindergarten, primary and secondary school, Daugavpils university, in social houses:
- organize activities for kids/youth: preparation of the activity on the concrete topic chosen by the EVS volunteer and implementation. It can be done independently or in the group with other volunteers. For example, organize presentation about the voluntary work/service in schools during the whole learning year (it could include preparation of the Power Point presentation or movies, implement some active simulation games with pupils in schools, and implement charity activities together with pupils).
- if the volunteer knows German language, the activity could be done for German speaking pupils and students at the university of Daugavpils.
- prepare youth exchange projects (if the volunteer shows the interest in project preparation and writing)
2. elderly people and retired
- lead the English class for seniors or youngsters/kids (one or two times a week for 1 h 30 min during the whole project)
- organize presentation of own country and culture (Power Point presentation, cooking of traditional food, teaching of traditional dances, introducing to famous people of own culture/country)
- organize activities independently and together with other volunteers

Besides EVS volunteer is free to participate in other activities of the organization: as New Year celebration activities, Easter, Lîgo, picnics, youth exchange projects, attend youth club meetings, use computer class with free internet-access, participate in different clubs of interests which are organized by "ODIN/VITA" volunteers at the Day centre for social care and rehabilitation.
