The volunteers will have place to work and needed equipment (computer and other office's technique). The office is well accessible by local transport. As the office is the main contact place for Russian volunteers willing to go abroad, most of the year it is full of young people, searching for information, tips for good projects, wiling to help, interested in respective countries and issues. The EVS volunteers will work in cooperation with staff members of the hosting organization, depending on type of work. In the organization's office, there are seven employees. The staff in the office is young, very nice, mostly women, giving good and friendly atmosphere. There are many other volunteers around the office, working occasionally according to needs of the office.
The working day of the volunteer is 6 hours a day 5 days a week. We also provide volunteers with vacation during the project and they have right to take part in any organization's workcamps (which are not connected to YiA, as it is another type of volunteering). Optionally the organization consults volunteers about opportunities to travel in Russia during holidays and suggests special travel projects for volunteer's group integration and discovering of Russian treasures.
