Resumo: The volunteers will be working closely with our film and digital design leadeader, as well as be part of our culture team. The culture team consists of two concert and event organisators, the film and design leader, the leader of the indoor rock climbing facilities and the international leason. The work will typically take place at the premises of the art centre, mostly in the daytime, but will also vary according to events and workshops.

The film and design leader and main volunteer contact has studied in New Zealand and several other employees speaks english as well.

The culture centre is located near the centre of town, walking distance to railway, busslines and ferry terminal, and the airport buss.

The city is the administrative, business and cultural capital of South Norway. The present population is 80.000. Music and theatre plays a key role on the city's cultural stage, the International Church Music Festival, the culture-night, the Punkt Festival and the International Figure Theatre festival are the most prominent annual events.

Perfil: We are looking for a person with previous experience or at least a strong interest for film and design. We work on iMacs, with Final Cut, Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and inDesign. Experience in all is not at all requiered, and we hope to send our volunteer on training courses through the EU training programme in programmes he or she lacks experience with.
Applicant must be over 18 years of age.

Expected duration: 6 to 12 months

Tarefas: As previously stated, the volunteer will be working closely with the leader of film and design within that field. But the volunteer will also if possible be given charge of his/her own design workshop and have other tasks that he/her manage on their own. A typical working week will include running a design workshop, poster design, partaking in EU projects, running a film club, participating in the organisation and running of concerts and events, blogging about volunteering, and taking varying film assignments with the film and design leader.

The culture centre has opening hours from 08.00 - 22.00 most weekdays, Sundays are closed. Fridays and Saturdays have opening hours according to planned events and conserts. We will make a work plan for the volunteer that includes both daytime and evening work.

We also aim at using the training programme to send the volunteer on relevant courses throughout the year. Sometimes alone, sometimes with the film and design leader.
