Resumo: The aim of our activities is to help people in need.
Our target group is elderly and people with disabilities.
The goal is to allow positive integration and prevent the process of social exclusion.

The Center is located in a small city however situated very close to big district placed in the north of Poland at the Baltic Sea.

Perfil: - Age: 18 to 30 years old
- like working with people with disabilities
- know how to get in touch with them (or at least is not afraid of that)
- responsible,
- creative
- cheerful person
- interest in theatre and different art techniques is also appreciated.

Although we are a catholic organisation, the religion of the volunteer does not matter. We are open for people of different faith.

Tarefas: - Volunteers organize, together with group leaders working in the center, different activities, in general related with art: painting, drawing, cooking workshops as well as sports competitions, dancing parties and other entertainments organized. There is a theatre and a group which performs a number of artistic activities.

- during summer holidays volunteers go with children on the camps in the mountains, near the lake, with a tent etc.

EVS volunteers play than a role of an assistant of a group leader and are responsible for outdoor and/or art activities.

We are open for their suggestions and ideas. We are especially interested in things connected with their culture - national dances, songs, food and games typical for the country the volunteer comes from.

Condições: While being at work volunteers are not allowed to use any kind of stimulant such as cigarettes, alcohol or drugs etc.

Accommodation:

Each volunteer lives in the three-roomed flat with two other volunteers participating in the EVS project. So that each of them has his/her own bedroom and they share kitchen and bathroom.
The flat is located near the shuttle service (bus stop, railway station) and volunteers are getting ticket for the local transport in order to get from the flat to workplace. The flat is fully equipped with furniture and needed equipment as well as Internet connection.

Food:

Every day volunteers get one meal at work. Moreover, monthly they get money for food so that they are able to cook by themselves.

Formação: Volunteers attend Polish course twice a week in a small groups of 3-4 people.
