Resumo: The concept of volunteering and charities in Greek society is still very very weak. Anyway, we can say that it is growing and becoming more and more popular, especially among the youth. Programmes such as EVS have been increasingly successful in Greece.

Greek society is becoming more aware of the fact that poverty can be more effectively tackled through a sustainable development approach rather than through global philanthropy.

The EVS volunteer in the host organization will have the chance to work with a team of motivated young people. Volunteers will be having the chance to learn about the idea of the organization and ethical consuming and to take initiatives for projects and activities inside the organization. Volunteer will mainly work side by side with the responsible of the world shop and helping in the constant involvement of local volunteers.

Perfil: - age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas:
- help in the organization of activities indoor and outdoor such as festivals and educational meetings
- help in the periodical update of the website and will support some administration tasks in the organization.
- helping daily in the activities of the No profit shop and its e-shop
- support the association in the web communication,
- office tasks and organization of periodical activities (Christmas' bazaar, exhibitions, events, cultural festivals, educational activities)
- In the framework of the educational, raising awareness and promotional activities,
- Plane your personal projects.

Formação: Language lessons will be offered on a periodical base for all the duration of the project.
