Resumo: The proposed activities focus on village Community. A community which created 6 years ago (is brand new) from people who moved in Olympic Village from totally different areas of Athens. As a result there is no still social coherence and we believe that our project will help in that direction. Also 3 per cent of the citizens are immigrants and most of the families have a person with fewer chances as it was one of the basic criteria in order to take a house in the village. There is no any other community in Greece with those characteristics. As a result voluntarism in the village is more than necessary and can be very effective as many persons, families and in the end the whole community would get benefits from voluntary activities. The village created to provide accommodation to the athletes. As a result there is a complex of sports facilities that everyone can use and the local sports team that everyone can join. Furthermore in all the places in the village included our office/youth centre there is easy access for youngsters with special needs. 12km from city centre of Athens under Parnitha mountain Olympic Village is located in a very beautiful nature area. All these characteristics combined with the population of the village (around 12000 people) creates a modern, easy live in suburb of Athens ready to accommodate active young people.

In the end there are many options within one hour distance included Parnitha mountain for nature lovers. With respect to project program, to increase the effectiveness of the participant inside project organization, while carrying their voluntary project educations, in the cause of spending the times apart from education with high efficiency, the accommodation place is inside the borders of the mentioned locations.

Tarefas: Volunteer tasks:
1. Participating in daily life of the youth centre (interaction with local youth, playing games with youngsters, inform about EVS potential future volunteers, cleaning the green zone of Olympic Village, gardening, maintain the squares and the common areas in good condition, supervising young people)
2. Helping in organising events for the youth
3. Helping in organising cultural events for the local community.
4. Taking part as assistant stuff in the daily operation of our website and helping to publish our newspaper.
5. Taking part in co-meetings and teamwork environmental projects.
