Resumo: Activity Center for Psychiatric patients, alcoholics and Psychologically vulnerable.

Social contact with the visitors, activities(creativity , sport), cooking

Perfil: - patient
- tolerant,
- be mentally and psychologically well-balanced
- age: 18 until 30 years old

Tarefas: - Talking and being together with visitors when at the coffetable, creating a cosy atmosphere, playing a card – or boardgame or other quiet activity
- Activities like creative hobbies, sportactivites, bowling, excursions out of the house.
- Cooking or other kitchenactivity (dishwashing and cleaning)

Horário: Working hours

will be weekdays from 9am to 4pm. One day a week the volunteer will arrive late and stay until 22pm in the evening. We expect the volunteer to work 1 Saturday each month (we plan which day together, so volunteer can join other weekendactivities as wanted) Instead the volunteer will be given a weekday off. Total working hours will not exceed 35 hours a week.

Holidays

The volunteer saves up 2,5 days of holiday per month they work
For holidays spent outside the project, its possible to ask Dansk ICY for DDK 50,00 pr day.

Condições: Language training
The volunteer will attend the public language classes which is offered in the area – most likely go 2 times a week for 2-3 hours. But it will depend on opportunities offered in the area at the moment. The volunteer must have the residence permit in order to join language classes, so in case this is delayed, participation might be postponed and not start from the beginning of the stay.

Food and accommodation
The volunteer will be living in a host family. The host organization is responsable to find a family living as close to the project as possible, but it can be that the volunteer will have spend some time daily on transport to and from the project. The host family does not receive payment but is opening their home to the volunteer based on the interest of an intercultural understanding. Food and basic needs will be provided by the family.

Local transport
All costs for activities regarding the project will be refunded. This means transport to and from the project, to language class and to both voluntary and compulsory meetings. In order to have expenses refunded, receipts or other written documentation for the expenses must be sent to us.
